240Hz Monkey King Odyssey

Optimal mounting distance for the 240Hz sensor is approximately 32″ to 72″. The 240Hz sensor is optimized for HOTAS, wheels, yokes, and sim cockpits. Our 60Hz sensor is a better solution if you are positioned less than 30″ from the sensor.

The Monkey King has 29% more viewing angle than the PS3 Eye. 180 degrees of head sweep allows the use of profiles that much more closely mimic natural head movement in your favorite sims.

The improved Puck and Odyssey along with the Monkey King have more pitch authority to look further up or down without the lights intersecting or freezing your in-game camera view.

Battery life for a single AA alkaline battery is 50hrs+ with our new 240hz sensor. When a battery becomes too weak for the PS3 Eye to pick up the light from your LEDs, Monkey King will continue to see your LEDs for many hours longer.

There are no drivers to download. Monkey King is plug & play. There are no gain, exposure, or color settings to modify. Simply mount the camera and plug it in to an available usb port. Start OpenTrack and select usb camera from the device list.

Monkey King has an industry leading 60DFOV @240Hz with a response time average of 14 milliseconds, which is more than twice as fast as the PS3 Eye, and camera panning response for Monkey King is nearly 4 times faster than the PS3 Eye.
